The White Label Tracking team joined Teltonika Telematics and partners from across the region for the 2026 Telematics Summit in Nairobi — and one message came through loud and clear: vehicle tracking on its own is no longer enough.
The event brought together key stakeholders from Africa’s telematics ecosystem for a day of workshops and live demonstrations. As Daniel Githinji, Head of Kenya Sales Group at Teltonika, put it: “We have only scratched the surface of the value telematics can unlock — from increasing efficiency and enabling data-driven decisions to transforming entire market segments.”
That theme ran through nearly every conversation we had at our booth. Fleet operators aren’t just asking “where is my vehicle?” anymore — they’re asking how to turn location data into better operational decisions, how to bring e-mobility fleets into their existing systems, and how tracking extends beyond vehicles into indoor and asset-level visibility.
It’s a shift we see every day in our own work. Whether a business is just getting started with basic GPS tracking or already exploring e-mobility, the real value comes from what happens after the dot on the map: better maintenance decisions and — in some of the more serious use cases we discussed — tracking that helps protect drivers and even save lives.
We left the summit energized by the conversations and the partners we connected with, all working toward the same goal: a complete, reliable telematics solution that fleets can actually build on.
A big thank you to Teltonika Telematics for hosting another excellent summit, and to everyone who stopped by to talk with us.
