This major releases includes enhanced Video Telematics functionalities, auto-trip classification, and a new type of geofence. See below the released functionalities:
1. Video Telematics
- Enabled multi-channel livestreaming for expanded real-time visibility
- Integrated DSM and ADAS notifications with media categorization for smarter incident tracking
- Added ability to request historical video directly from trip playback
- Introduced support for Hikvision, Howen, and JT808 protocols, unlocking compatibility with a wider range of generic dashcams.
- Data Usage Logging: Tracks total data used and streamed per device for accurate SIM cost estimation.
2. Auto-Trip Classification
- Automatically categorizes trips based on predefined rules such as working hours, geofence, or driver role, supporting tax compliance in jurisdictions where business and personal mileage is required.
3. Idling Logic Update
- Software now calculates idling episodes based on configured thresholds. Previously we relied on device calculated idling episodes.
4. New Geofence Type “Area”
- Introduced a new geofence type designed for large areas such as countries and states.
- This will enables International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) compliance; mileage attribution per state and fuel purchases within Area.-
5. Secondary conditions for Alerts/notifications
- Introduced secondary alert conditions (e.g., ignition outside working hours, stoppage in high-risk zones).
6. Custom Eco-Drive Rating Matrix
- Driver scoring is now fully customizable. Users can assign weights to individual violation events including allowances for exceeding legal speed limits.
7. Route Management Enhancements
- Introduced bulk route import and buffer radius configuration for deviation alerts. Routes can now be dynamically drawn from trip playback.
8. Trip Playback Visuals
- Improved animated playback experience, icons, breadcrumbs and trip line visibility.
9. Offline Device Alerts
- Notify’s users for devices that fail to report within a set time window.
10. Control Room Performance
- Faster resizing and smoother interactions.
11. New modules added
- Bulk GPRS command support for large fleets (e.g., mass immobilization).
